- Players should pair off with a partner and sit with there knees crossed opposite each other about 6 feet apart (as with other drills the distance can very depending on the age and abilities of the players).
- The bodies should be opened, i.e. a right handed players right knee should be closer to their partner then the left knee.
- Now have the players bring their arm up so the set point (lower arm is parallel with the floor and the ball is on the palm of the hands as discussed in the fundamentals of the shot).
- The player should then just pushes the arm upward in a natural release motion.
- Players shoot the ball back in forth developing a steady consistent shot.
